Dear world
Dear world, I am sorry for disturbing your winter peace.
I am sorry, dear world, for this unesthetic war and for those horrific sights you have to witness
I am sorry that we are unable to provide you with some moving and bloody pictures from our end.
Sorry that our kindergartens were empty while bombed and that we don’t have dismembered bodies to present to you.
Dear world, I am so very sorry that we have too many open fields for the rockets to fall in.
I am extremely sorry that we prepared ourselves and built special safety rooms to hide in.
I am sorry that our army is highly trained and capable.
I apologise for developing sophisticated weapons by ourselves and for using them to defend ourselves.
I am sorry, dear world, that our politicians are succeeding in agreeing among themseves and making decisions.
I am sorry that our citizens are behaving in an exemplary manner, and are freezing their normal life in acceptance of the situation and bravery.
Dear world, I am sorry that we do not “look good”. We know you worship beauty
I am so very sorry that we are shaking you abit to much. Don’t worry, as time will pass you’ll forget all about it, dear world.
Do you remember how quickly you forgot what Russia did to Georgia not so long ago?
I am sorry, dear world, that it’s about to end.
I apologise in advance for the cease-fire we are about to achieve
It’s not so bad, dear world. We have some stubborn and decisive enemies that are threatening you as well.
We will get some quiet here for now, but those enemies will keep on bothering. They’ll bother us mostly, but you’ll feel it to, dear world.
