We weren’t able to connect to the Store – windows 8 – solution
I’ve upgraded my windows to version 8 and everything went smooth… almost.
- when i tried to enter the store i got this error – “We weren’t able to connect to the Store, This might have happened because of a server problem or the network connection timed out. Please wait a few minutes and try again.”
- when i tried to enter the mail app it showed me a blank screen with no options.
- on every app, when i open the charms bar and tried to add an acount it told me i can’t and one window-update later it didn’t even tell me that. it just showed a blank page.
it took me a few hours at which i tried a few solutions i’ve found on the net.
at the end the problem was the AVG firewall. I’ve disabled it and enabled the windows firewall and everything was fixed.
